Sequoya Barksdale

Program Coordinator

Sequoya has served as a Program Coordinator at the Women's Mental Health Shelter at the Park Ave Armory since 2025. Prior to joining the Neighborhood House, Sequoya worked as a Supervisor at Diaspora Community Services, as a Peace Officer and Field Training Officer for the City Department of Homeless Services and in various positions in customer service. Sequoya is a graduate of William H. Maxwell Career and Technical Education High School.
