Nawal Abdelqader

Program Assistant

Nawal Abdelqader has served as a Program Assistant at the Women’s Mental Health Shelter since 2024, after originally starting as a per-diem Program Assistant. Prior to joining the Neighborhood House, Nawal worked as a Cardiology Information Specialist at Maimonides Medical Center and as a Communications Associate at the YA-YA Network. Nawal is a graduate of LIU Brooklyn (BS, Health Science) and has conversational Arabic.
