2025 SPRING GALA:
"LA DOLCE VITA"
May 1, 2025

We hosted more than 500 supporters and friends at Cipriani 42nd Street to celebrate “La Dolce Vita”—our annual Spring Gala celebration. This spectacular black-tie fundraising benefit and premier tabletop event raised more than $1.2 million to support 17,000 New Yorkers in need. Dozens of renowned interior designers volunteered their talents to create breathtaking tablescapes for the celebration, which honored Board Member Dusty Philip and recognized former Executive Director Warren B. Scharf. Diana Quasha served as Gala Chair Emerita, with the designers guided by Honorary Design Chair Christopher Spitzmiller and Design Chairs Lindsey Coral Harper and Harry Heissmann. Table previews and cocktails were followed by dinner, program tributes, live music and dancing with The Love Revival Orchestra. Jennifer Wright of Christie’s led a spirited Paddle Raise. New York Cottages & Gardens served as the Media Sponsor, with Homeworthy serving as the Broadcast Partner.

2024 SPRING GALA:
"FLIGHTS OF FANCY"
May 2, 2024

On May 2, 2024, more than 500 Neighborhood House supporters and friends reunited at Cipriani 42nd Street to celebrate “Flights of Fancy”—our annual Spring Gala celebration to raise critical funds for 16,000 New Yorkers in need. More than 40 renowned interior designers lent their talents to create elaborate centerpieces to serve as a magnificent canopy for the evening, which honored Board Member Thomas L. Melton and presented the Elizabeth Rohatyn Award for Community Service to the New York Health Foundation and Lifespire. Diana Quasha served as Gala Chair Emerita. Stewarded by Honorary Design Chair and Board Member Christopher Spitzmiller, and Design Chairs Lindsey Harper and Harry Heissmann, the acclaimed lineup of designers used the “Flights of Fancy” theme as inspiration for their wonderous tablescape designs. Guests enjoyed a beautiful cocktail reception and table viewing, followed by dinner and live music and dancing with The Love Revival Orchestra. Jennifer Wright of Christie’s led a spirited Paddle Raise and the crowd was dazzled by a captivating mentalist performance by Magic Mike Jacobson. The media sponsor was New York Cottages & Gardens.

2023 SPRING GALA:
"ALL THE WORLD’S A STAGE"
May 4, 2023

On May 4, 2023, Lenox Hill Neighborhood House hosted our annual Spring Gala benefit at Cipriani 42nd Street. The dazzling event welcomed 500 supporters, partners and friends, surrounded by enchanting tablescapes from more than 40 renowned designers, to celebrate and raise critical funds for thousands of New Yorkers. The evening saw the presentation of the Elizabeth Rohatyn Awards for Community Service to Dr. Soyoun Im of Northwell Health-Lenox Hill Hospital and Acclaimed Chef and Writer Natasha Pickowicz. Diana Ronan Quasha served as Gala Chair Emerita with Board Chair Juan A. Sabater as the Emcee. The event included a press preview, cocktails and table viewing, followed by dinner, live music and dancing. The Media Sponsor was New York Cottages & Gardens. Honorary Design Chair and Board Member Christopher Spitzmiller and Design Chairs Lindsey Coral Harper and Harry Heissmann guided a celebrated list of designers, who incorporated the festive theme “All the World’s a Stage” into their enchanting tabletop creations.

2022 SPRING GALA:
"A GARDEN OF EARTHLY DELIGHTS!"

Our 2022 Spring Gala, “A Garden of Earthly Delights”, was held on Thursday, April 28th at Cipriani 42nd Street. The dazzling event welcomed 500 supporters and friends, surrounded by breathtaking tablescapes by 43 designers, to celebrate and raise funds to support our essential programs for thousands in need. The evening honored Elizabeth P. Munson for her remarkable leadership and presented the Elizabeth Rohatyn Awards for Community Service to Marian Detelj and Lila Gimbel. Christopher Spitzmiller served as Honorary Design Chair, with Design Chairs Lindsey Coral Harper and Harry Heissmann. The Media Sponsor was New York Cottages & Gardens.

2019 SPRING GALA:
"the future starts now!"

We hosted our 2019 Spring Gala, "The Future Starts Now!" on Thursday, April 18th at Cipriani 42nd Street.  We enjoyed an elegant evening of dinner and dancing surrounded by magnificent tablescapes individually designed by renowned interior designers.  We were overjoyed to celebrate 125 years of Lenox Hill Neighborhood House and our many friends and supporters throughout our history.

The 2018 Spring Gala, "Make a Splash!" took place on Wednesday, April 11th at Cipriani 42nd Street.  We enjoyed an evening of dinner and dancing surrounded by elegant tabletops individually decorated by acclaimed interior designers.  We were thrilled to honor Sana H. Sabbagh for her outstanding support.
