Mayline Garcia

Lead Teacher

Mayline Garcia has served as a Lead Teacher in the Early Childhood Center since 2026 after previously serving as a part-time Assistant Teacher. Prior to joining the Neighborhood House, Mayline worked as a Tutor with America Reads and iEducate and gained student teaching experience at both South Bronx Literacy Academy and P.S. 042 Benjamin Altman. Mayline will graduate from New York University’s Steinhardt School of Culture, Education and Human Development (BS, Early Childhood Education and Special Education) and is fluent in Spanish.
