Joan Benefiel

Events & Partnerships Manager

Joan has served as an Events & Partnerships Manager since 2025. Prior to joining the Neighborhood House, Joan worked as a Visual Arts Coordinator for the Arts and Humanities Department in Salina, Kansas and as a Program Director at Greenpoint Hunger Program. Joan is the Founding Partner and Public Art Sculptor at Figuration, LLC. and has also worked as a Teacher at Educational Alliance's Adult Continuing Education Program and as a Project Manager at Excalibur Bronze Sculpture Foundry. Joan is a graduate of University of Kansas (BA, Gender Studies) and the New York Academy of Art (MFA, Sculpture).
