Center @ Lenox Hill Neighborhood House

The Center @ Lenox Hill Neighborhood House, one of New York City's Innovative Senior Centers, provides an unparalleled experience for older adults in Manhattan.

The Center leverages our Settlement House resources – Health and Wellness, Fitness and Aquatics, Legal Advocacy, Food Services, Visual and Performing Arts, Adult Education and more – to offer a full calendar of daily programming and three meals a day to more than 2,500 active members from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. 365 days a year.

The Center offers members a packed schedule of 15 to 20 activities daily. Current offerings include three to five fitness classes daily, including swimming in the Neighborhood House pool; language classes; arts, crafts and culture classes; games; computer classes and additional technology offerings; and groups on various other topics including horticulture and decluttering.  We also serve three meals a day using more than 90% fresh produce, more than 40% of it locally sourced, as well as sustainably harvested regional fish, local organic meat and locally grown and milled grains. The Neighborhood House also provides expanded physical and mental health services at the Center, legal services and more.

Membership is free of charge to adults aged 60 and over; suggested donation for meals.
