Alexandra Brandes

Policy and Advocacy Manager

Alexandra Brandes is our Policy and Advocacy Manager, having first joined the Neighborhood House in 2015 as a Health Care and Elder Law Fellow. She has also served as the Supervising Attorney for the Health Care Access Project at Lenox Hill Neighborhood House. Prior to joining the Neighborhood House, Alex worked for the United States Agency for International Development’s Office of HIV/AIDS as both a Key Populations Intern and a Health and Human Rights Contractor. Alex is a graduate of Portland State University and received her law degree from Tulane University’s Law School and her public health degree from Tulane’s School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine.
