Aside from lemon balm, chives and grape vines, it may not look like there is much growing right now, but below the soil things are just getting started! We have big plans for our roof top garden this year. We have planted basil, cilantro, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, lavender and sunflowers. In the coming months we're hoping to do more collaboration with the Teaching Kitchen and our Food Service Team by using our roof top garden produce in our menus, and using the garden to teach our Early Childhood Center about healthy and hyper-local eating.
