Senior Centers

Lenox Hill Neighborhood House runs two, filled-to-capacity Senior Centers. Thousands of members enjoy a full range of educational, recreational, social and health and wellness activities, as well as wonderful, nutritious congregate meals prepared fresh daily.

Our Senior Centers are vital places in our community where older adults can feel welcome and participate in diverse programming, from literature and foreign language to belly dancing and T’ai Chi. A highly qualified and caring on-site social work staff and the attorneys and advocates in our Legal Advocacy & Organizing Department conduct dozens of workshops each year to share information and educate members on the many legal issues related to aging.

These professional services are offered in conjunction with exciting membership offerings such as: the Second Sundays arts performance series, discounted theater tickets, computers, nutrition education, fitness classes, cultural field trips and much more.

Membership and programs are free of charge with proof of age and all lunches have a suggested contribution of $1.50.
