For the past two decades, the Neighborhood House has provided a comprehensive network of programs and services to homeless and formerly homeless men and women each year to help them gain independence and stability.

Through our Homeless and Housing Services Department, we provide this support to more than 500 men and women each year who are homeless, formerly homeless, or threatened with eviction and life on the streets.

As we address each client’s immediate needs for food, clothing and shelter, we tackle the root causes that led to their homelessness, such as undiagnosed mental illness, substance abuse, lack of education, poor health care or a lack of job skills.
