Lenox Hill Neighborhood House’s Food Services program expands throughout the Neighborhood House and provides 300,000 nutritious, fresh and enjoyable meals 365 days a year for our diverse clientele including children, homeless adults and seniors. We provide healthy, delicious meals to the people in need we serve including:

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)

The Lenox Hill Neighborhood House Community Supported Agriculture program began in 2009. CSAs are partnerships between regional farmers and consumers to get fresh produce directly from the farms into NYC communities. The Lenox Hill Neighborhood House CSA partners with Stoneledge Farm from South Cairo, New York.

The season runs from June through early November. Each “shareholder” pays to be a member and receives 8-10 vegetable items per week through the farm. The CSA is a volunteer run project. Shareholders commit to volunteer a few times a season for the distribution site. They set up, organize the items and distribute them to shareholders based on a list they are given by the farm.
