RealArts Education Program

The RealArts Education Program serves 60 low-income children (ages 6 through 13) throughout the academic year, operating from 3 p.m. – 6 p.m. and on full days during school holidays. We are proud to announce that for 2009-2010 school year, we launched our first arts-based curriculum!

Our after school weekday program has a strong emphasis on arts education and aquatics.  Families can register for a two-day, three-day or five day-a-week option.  RealArts offers age appropriate activities in dance, drama, music, visual art and swimming. Additional activities include recreation, cultural activities, live performance experiences and computers.  We serve a light snack when children arrive and play outside on our renovated rooftop playground when weather and daylight permits.

For more information about our RealArts Education Program, contact the Registrar, Gwen Hamilton, at 212 744-5022, ext. 1276 or ghamilton@lenoxhill.org.
