2011 Arthur L. Loeb Cup Bridge Tournament
The inaugural Arthur L. Loeb Cup Bridge Tournament was held at the Neighborhood House on October 4th. Nearly 200 bridge players from New York, Connecticut and around the country joined us for a competitive tournament to raise funds for our programs. Chaired by Board Member Amabel B. James, the Tournament was directed by Cordelia Menges who, with Kathy Fallenius of the Cavendish Bridge Club and Ted Newman, all of whom donated their time, ran three full sections of duplicate bridge. Judi Radin, a four time world bridge champion, and other members of the Benefit Committee organized a remarkable team of bridge professionals to participate in the benefit. The bridge professionals also generously donated their time and good cheer to ensure an exciting morning of duplicate bridge.
