Free Tax Preparation
Community members who have dependents and earn less than $35,000 per year and those without dependents who earn less than $15,000 per year are eligible for free tax preparation. Please call the Legal Advocacy & Organizing Department at 212-744-5022, 1392 for a 5 minute, confidential prescreening.

Food Stamp Application Assistance
Lenox Hill Neighborhood House hopes to inform the community about food stamp eligibility guidelines (click here for information on food stamp eligibility) and enroll more eligible households. Almost half of food stamp eligible New Yorkers are not receiving food stamps. By expanding the Legal Advocacy and Organizing Department to include a focus on food stamps, Lenox Hill Neighborhood House is broadening the array of services and supports offered to clients, and can work with eligible clients through the food stamp process. For eligibility information and confidential pre-screenings (click here for information on what you need to bring to your pre-screening), please contact the Food Stamp Advocate at 212 744-5022, ext. 1278.
